Your business website is essentially your storefront, business card and most significant marketing piece all rolled into one. How it affects your visitors and customers is then essential to your success. Provide a memorable experience and customers are sure to return time and time again. Let’s take a look at five keys to creating a website that sells.
Key #1 Make your website interactive.
As the internet continues to grow and evolve it’s becoming more important to create a community around your business. To accomplish this you want to engage your visitors and customers. This can be accomplished a number of ways. You can:
* Provide a forum
* Post surveys or polls
* Enable visitors and customers to review or rank items. For example a “How valuable was this article?” question and a scale of 1 to 5 stars or a ranking from 1-10.
* Offer a blog and inspire comments and feedback
* Host contests and sweepstakes
* Publish video and audio content as well as written content. This gives users another way to access you and your personality.
Key #2 Make sure your website provides value.
People go online for a number of reasons. They go online to research a potential purchase, to seek solutions for a problem they’re having and to be entertained. If your website provides all three; products, information, and entertainment then you’re in tip top shape. The good news is your content can provide both the information and the entertainment and when written well, can also inspire purchases. Here are a few ideas to provide value for your customers and prospects:
* How to articles, videos, and audio
* Tips articles, videos, and audio
* Case studies
* Workbooks and reports
* Interviews with experts
* Product reviews
Key #3 Make sure your website is easy to navigate.
It takes a visitor about 20 seconds to make a decision about whether they’re going to stay on your website or click away. If your site is laid out nicely, with products and services, information, prices, FAQs, and content easy to find then people are more likely to hang out – the longer they stay on your site the more likely they are to make a purchase or to return again.
To make your site easy to navigate consider:
* Keeping your site simple.
* Keep your pages uniform with the same options and appearance.
* If you have a lot of content, great! Use drop down menus and organize your content by topic for easier access.
* Offer a search function where users can search for products, services, or content topics quickly and easily.
* Provide a way for users to easily go back to previous pages. A back key is an option however if every page has the same options and drop down menus, including the ability to quickly return to the home page, a visitor will always be able to find what they need.
* Test your website’s appearance on different browsers to make sure every visitor has a good experience.
Key #4 Make your website easy on the eyes.
Ever visit a website and the text was so small or the colors so incompatible that you couldn’t read a word? Readability is critical to a selling website. Make sure:
* Your colors are easy on the eyes,
* Your graphics aren’t distracting
* And keep formatting like underlining, bold and italics to a minimum.
* Spacing between sentences and paragraphs is adequate
* Font size is large enough for people to read and font is easy to read
Key #5 Give them a soft sell.
People expect to be sold to and they’re looking for it – they’re wary. Instead of hitting website visitors with a hard sell, provide information, solve their problems and show them the benefits of your products or services. They’ll be much more receptive and appreciative.
Creating a website that sells requires a structured approach and a desire to create the best experience possible for your visitors. Once you’ve created your website, consider testing it and asking associates, friends and family for their opinion.
Hello,
One of the ways I make money online is by selling websites on Flippa.com.
I am one of thos Internet Marketers who has bought most all good PLR/MRR packages and ecspecially video courses related to internet marketing.
It’s pretty easy for me since it involves setting up an html website online. I first go to godaddy and buy a domain that best matches the product. I then change the nameservers to my hosting and add on the domain in my hostgator cpanel.
I then log in through FTP and upload the site and its pages. I only upload the first video so people can see a sample video. When that’s done I go to Flippa and list my site for $77-$150 for the starting bid depending on the quality of the product. I don’t devalue products by selling them for 99 cents to $7 like you may see people doing on other auction sites. Remember a website is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Don’t sell yourself short, sell it for what you think it is worth. It works for me.
To learn everything I have learned about site flipping you can watch my site flipping blueprint videos that I sell on Clickbank for $37 for Free by going to this page: Click image or link below to access this product for free:

I haven’t done much flyer distribution lately since I did 2 days and didn’t get one conversion with my new flyer I quickly became unmotivated. I have been busy making a few bucks online with Site Flipping and CPA marketing.
Even though I didn’t get any conversions with my offline flyer that promoted netflix I can’t say that I tried that much. Ecspecially since I haven’t tried handing out flyers at colleges yet. I think the college crowd would love a free month long trial to netflix. I then realized to do a thorough test with my flyers I would also have to hit movie theater parking lots with the netflix offer as maybe that is as targeted as I can get with flyers. Anyway I will hopefully get back out and try colleges and movie theaters soon with my flyers.
In the meantime I am promoting my free stuff site which is filled with all cpa offers. I am promoting that on one of the big three ppc search engines and getting a small ROI or Return On Investment. I will try CPV/PPV soon also with CPA to see what kind of returns I can get.

Hello,
I am just about to start another flyer campaign. So the first one didn’t work so what. I have a new idea and I think it will work. Basically before I was sending people to my free stuff site which is all CPA offers. This time I will concentrate on one product instead of over 200 like I had. This time I will direct link and offer that will appeal to just about anyone(think entertainment!).
On my first experiment I ended up with 2 conversions for a total of $4.05. If I had 2 conversions of this new product I would earn around $32 which would have been profitable as I spent less on gas and nothing on flyers.
I will try this time to get on college campuses as this offer will appeal to college students also. I have the flyer designed already and I’ll print them tommorrow and start the day after that. So we’ll see what kind of conversions I can get this time. I already have an idea for a new flyer that would also be great for colleges.
One good thing is that I can start over each day at the same parking lots as it will be all new people to advertise to. So I redo parking lots daily and I ad new ones. I will do the same as last time as far as amount of flyers. I will do 300 x 8 ads per page is 2400 ads(flyers). They actually go pretty quick for me and I’m done in two days of 2-3 hours a day. Its ecpecially fast when I don’t have to go around a car. For example when two cars facing each other pull in as long as they don’t get too close so that I can’t squeeze through I can do 2 rows of cars quickly. I haven’t set off an alarm at all as I just touch the wiper to barely lift it.
Anyway we’ll see what happens in a few days or so.
Thanks,

Hello,
The CPA flyer campaign I was running is over. $10 spent on gas and $4.05 made from CPA offers. So I give up on the flyer campaign to the general public. I may try to do it on college campuses which may convert better but for now I’m done.
About 2400 flyers distributed and a few bucks made. Not worth it!
I am now moving on to CPV/PPV or Cost Per View also known as Pay Per View which will be online advertising. The flyers were somewhat targeted as you would think that the general public would like free stuff but each person I gave a flyer to was there at the store to spend money so its not very targeted.
But with CPV/PPV I will be able to be targeted by keyword and url. I have been wanting to try CPV for a while. People swear by it as a great source of targeted cheap traffic.
I’ll try that in a week or two.
By the way here is the flyer I used to promote my free stuff site. I removed my domain. Remember it is an 1/8 of a sheet of paper:

Thanks,
Mike Nagle
Today, after days of rain, I distributed one third of 2400 flyers on car windshields. It was easy and it went smooth. 2 of the 3 parking lots I hit had a security guard driving around slowly. I carefully avoided them. My flyer is small its about a little bigger than a business card. So they fit in my pocket so I was able to pull a few out as I needed them.
Anyway I covered 3 big parking lots fast so it was hundreds of flyers. They were small though and in many cases barely stuck up in view. I put them all in the drivers side windshhield wiper. I have the feeling people will start driving and then see the flyer flapping in the wind. If they then hit the windshield wiper it will be gone.
I did this for only 2 hours and spent only a few bucks in gas. The flyers were printed free and I chopped them in a paper slicer myself.
I came home and figured it was way too soon for any conversions but I had one conversion. So right off the bat my first day was profitable but we’ll see what happens after a few days.
The good thing is that I can go back to the same parking lots the next day and it will be all new people and cars.
I have been living in front of the tv and pc so the excercise I am getting is great.

Hello,
I am about to start my offline marketing campaign by promoting my free stuff CPA site by handing out flyers on car windshields. I’m gonna start from the bottom and it will not cost much to advertise as I had the flyers printed for free at someones office I know. I just have to pay for gas.
I made an 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper my flyer but I made the ad 8 times so in other words my ad fits 8 times on a sheet of paper so when I print out a sheet it gives me 8 business card sized ads. So I started with 300 flyers chopped into eigths will give me 2400 ads or 2400 windshields I have to hit.
If it turns out profitable I will then scale it up and put flyers in the local pennysaver and let them distribute a full page flyer for me. Then I will take it online with PPV/CPV and PPC and Media Buys and whatever else methods I like to use for promotion.
I don’t want to list the site here to give away too much but if it turns out profitable maybe I will do a case study and then list it.
That’s it for now.

Hello All,
I like to think big and dream big. When I start making serious money online the first big toys I am going to get is a pool. I love inground pools. I spent as much time as I could in them this summer. With a little luck and CPA marketing and my membership site I think by next June it can be a reality.
Here is a cool pic I found online of a pool. Click image to see full size:

Here is another one. Click image to see full size:

If I work hard enough I’m pretty sure I can pull it off. But we’ll see.
Have you thought about what kind of things you will be buying with your newfound internet marketing money. Think Big!
Thank,
Mike Nagle
Hello All,
I am making a little money with CPA offers or Cost Per Action offers. CPA marketing is hot right now and it is a little easier then the traditional CPS or Cost Per Sale business model. You just have to get someone to give up information to get paid. Sometimes all they may have to do is submit their zip code or email and you get paid per lead. I believe years back it was indeed called PPL or Pay Per Lead but it is now referred to as CPA or Cost Per Action or even Cost Per Acquisition. So in other words you get someone to take an action such as submitting their email address and you get cash.
I am about to start an offline advertising blitz by putting flyers in car windshields to make some money and then upgrade to putting a flyer in the pennysaver so I don’t have to deliver flyers. Then I’ll take it online.
I’ll use the funds to get my membership site off the ground. I need approx $175 membership software. I’ll need copywriting for a great salespage for who knows. I see prices ranging from $297-$1997. I’m not sure if I want to do this website myself or leave it to the pros.
Thats it for now!
